libasio-dev software package provides cross-platform C++ library for network programming, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libasio-dev
libasio-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libasio-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libasio-dev *
You will get with libasio-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
